Compare live prices from local Gold Coast suppliers, from the beachfront high-rises and canal suburbs to the northern growth corridor and the hinterland. One postcode gets you real prices, side by side.
Right size, right job. The table below shows what each bin fits and the current Gold Coast price.
| Bin size | Typical job & waste type | From (incl. GST) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 m³ | A unit balcony and spare room cleared in one go. | From $454.61 |
| 2 m³ | A bathroom strip, or a unit courtyard cleared out. Where dense loads go: soil, brick, pavers. | From $467.85 |
| 3 m³ | A single room emptied, or a townhouse garden done. | From $533.23 |
| 4 m³ | A unit refit, or a double garage cleared. General or heavy, mind the tonnage cap. | From $647.70 |
| 6 m³ | A full renovation, or a hinterland block's green waste. | From $878.13 |
| 8 m³ | A whole-home clear-out or a build, heavy rubble aside. Bulky, low-weight loads: furniture, timber, boxes. | From $1135.54 |
Half a trailer's worth? A 1 m³ skip bag on the Coast is $199.00 to start, drop-off and pick-up included.
Every figure is a no-gate skip bin, general waste, a 7-day hire, incl. GST. A gate or a concrete load prices above that. A unit-block clear-out and a hinterland green-waste run fill the same bin to very different weights, and the tip charges on the scales. Drop a postcode in to price your own job.

The Gold Coast is one of the country's biggest councils, from a high-rise coastline to fast-growing northern estates and a rainforest hinterland. Price your postcode to land on the real number.
Surfers Paradise, Southport, Broadbeach, Mermaid Waters, Burleigh Heads, Palm Beach, Robina, Nerang
Coomera, Upper Coomera, Pimpama, Ormeau, Oxenford, Helensvale, Hope Island, Pacific Pines
Tallebudgera Valley, Currumbin Valley, Springbrook, Numinbah Valley
Not on private land. On the road, footpath, nature strip or verge, yes, from the City of Gold Coast, and only one skip can sit in the road reserve in front of a place at a time. Dropping a bin on public land without approval can attract a fine, so it's worth letting your supplier arrange it.
The council runs recovery centres across the city, and their fees plus Queensland's $125-a-tonne levy are built into what you pay.

Much of the coast is in the SE-QLD fire ant zone, set by address, and soil and turf movement is controlled.
Tourism, canal living and rapid growth give the coast its own mix of skip jobs.
Each bin size carries its current Gold Coast price in the table above, read straight from the booking system. The Gold Coast pays Queensland's $125-a-tonne landfill levy, so the heavier the load, the more it costs to tip. Enter your postcode and you'll see the live figure.
Not on your own property. On the road, footpath, nature strip or verge, yes, from the City of Gold Coast, and only one skip is allowed in the road reserve out front at a time. Putting one on public land without the nod can bring a fine, so let your supplier arrange it.
The council runs waste and recycling centres across the city, at Stapylton, Molendinar, Reedy Creek, Helensvale and Merrimac. Builder and skip loads go to Stapylton, Molendinar or Reedy Creek. The tip fees and the state levy are baked into your price.
A real mix. The northern corridor around Coomera and Pimpama is one of the fastest-growing parts of the country, so construction waste is huge. Add high-rise and unit-block clean-outs along the beachfront, canal-home renovations at Hope Island and Mermaid Waters, and green waste from the hinterland.
Yes, but much of the coast falls in the fire ant biosecurity zone, and the zones are set address by address rather than by suburb. Soil, mulch and turf are controlled, so check your address and let a supplier who knows the rules take it. Dense fill goes in the smaller heavy-waste bins.
Asbestos is the main one. Wrap it in two layers, label it, and take it to a licensed site, or use a lined asbestos skip. Gas bottles, paint, chemicals, batteries and electronics all go to a proper drop-off, never the general bin.
