Glass content & reclassification
If glass makes up more than 30% of the bin contents, the load may be reclassified and additional disposal charges may apply. Any reclassification must be supported by clear photos and disposal evidence before further an additional charge is approved.

This is particularly important where solar-related materials are included in the load.

Loads that are contaminated, overfilled, or contain materials outside the approved Silicon Waste classification may be reclassified. Additional disposal, handling, or sorting charges may apply.

Customers should select Silicon Waste and may place a mixture of the approved Silicon Waste items in the same bin. They do not need to select each individual silicon item separately.

Batteries

Medical Waste
Syringes, pharmaceuticals, clinical waste
Food or Liquid Waste
Organic food waste and any liquids
Concrete, Bricks or Masonry
Use a heavy waste bin instead
Soil or Dirt

Select Silicon Waste Once
Choose Silicon Waste and mix approved silicon items in the same bin. You do not need to select each silicon item separately.
Keep Materials Clean and Dry
Only clean, uncontaminated silicon materials are accepted. Liquids and contamination can lead to rejection.
Watch Glass Content
If glass exceeds 30% of the bin — especially with solar-related materials — the load may be reclassified.
Don't Overfill
Keep waste level with the top of the bin. Overfilled bins cannot be transported safely.
